New Delhi, July 4 (KNN) Ghaziabad traders held a protest march against GST under the banner of Udyog Vyapar Mandal.

Claiming the shortcomings in the Goods and Service Tax (GST), traders demanded changes in the tax collection regime.

Seeking changes in the GST system traders also submitted to the District Magistrate a memorandum addressed to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. 

The memorandum demanded rectification of what they called the "discrepancies" in the new system. 

Leader of the traders said that the new tax regime should be simplified and certain changes introduced. 

He also demanded that under the limit under the Samadhan Yojana (GST composition scheme) should be increased.
