GIZ - JSIA to conduct training program on Low Cost Automation for SMEs

New Delhi, Dec 21 (KNN) In an attempt to facilitate training among the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) of the region with regard to automation, Jharkhand Small Industries Association (JSIA) in association with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale, Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) is conducting a two day training program on Low Cost Automation in Ranchi.

The program is scheduled for 27th and 28th of December.

The training program is being carried out under the Innovation Promotion Programme of Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale, Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and is to be facilitated by the experts from Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers' Association (IMTMA).

Considering the importance of in facilitating increased productivity while reducing production costs, GIZ is undertaking the program.

Also with the program in place the organizers aim to impart knowledge regarding the various dimensions of Automation including its applicability in loading, feeding, clamping, machining, welding and forming, etc.

The two day workshop is to focus on different themes including concepts of Low Cost Automation, Economic Justification of Automation, Automation System Integration and Implementing Automation Successfully.

Also dedicated sessions on themes such as Pick & Place Systems Sensing Elements for Automation, Latest Trends in Automation for Manufacturing & Assembly, Concepts of set-up/ changeover time and benefits Review of waste in processes, Relation between change over and waste are to feature in the program.
