Google India honours 5 entrepreneurs from SME sector

New Delhi, Nov 27 (KNN) Google India has selected five small and medium enterprises in Chandigarh and chosen them as Google SME Heroes of the city, according to a media report.

The selection was made in collaboration with CII as a part of a nationwide programme to inspire small and medium businesses by showcasing successful entrepreneurs who have excelled by using internet.

According to the report, the selected five finalist entrepreneurs are Zesty Bites bakery Proprietor Veena Singla; Vipin Kapoor of Kapkids a retail store of kid clothes; owner of Pumpkart a pump shop KS Bhatia; owner of Precision Machines a factory manufacturing carton-folding machines, Vaibhav Sharma; and Schoolpad a school management software owner Abhiraj Malhotara.

Google is providing the small and medium enterprises a platform called as Google ADwords to showcase their business to the relevant search results to their business.

The small and medium businesses (SMBs) have been a huge source of income to Google from the very first day they introduced the Google Adwords, it said. (KNN Bureau)
