New Delhi, Dec 12 (KNN) India is one of the largest steel producers in the world, Here the Aruna Sunderarajan, Secretary, Ministry of Steel said that Government is committed to provide any support to the small and medium entrepreneurs.

She was addressing a National meet “Fast tracking energy efficiency in the secondary steel sector” was organized in New Delhi. 

 She said that India has to increase its productivity in terms of people working in the steel sector and various factors of production.

We do not have the luxury of sitting back and continuing to do business as usual, Secretary said in the event.

The objective of the meet was to share implementation experiences, felicitate units that have adopted the energy efficiency measures, campaign for fast tracking energy efficiency for those who are yet to adopt the measures and deepen energy efficiency in the units that have adopted first set of interventions.  (KNN Bureau)
