Govt aims to strengthen MSME sector with Competitive (LEAN) Scheme: PM Modi

New Delhi, Mar 13 (KNN) Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Monday that the MSME Competitive (LEAN) Scheme and is a part of government’s efforts to strengthen the MSME sector.

Sharing the link of MSME Competitive (LEAN) Scheme, he tweeted, “A part of our efforts to strengthen the MSME sector, which is a key pillar of India economic growth. lean.msme.gov.in.”

This was his response to the tweet by Union Minister for MSME, Narayan Rane which read, “Launched MSME Competitive (LEAN) Scheme under MSME Champions Scheme. This scheme has potential to become a national movement and aims to provide a roadmap to global competitiveness for the MSMEs of the country.”

The MSME Ministry on Friday launched the revamped MSME Competitive (LEAN) scheme to make it more beneficial for enterprises and stakeholders.

Under the revamped scheme, the Centre's contribution will be 90 per cent of the implementation cost for hand holding and consultancy fees as against 80 per cent previously.  (KNN Bureau)
