Mishra on Sunday said the youth should develop rural entrepreneurship with commitment, thereby strengthening the national economy. The government would offer required funding and other assistance for this initiative, he said.
He said this while addressing an event after inaugurating the headquarters of Siri Gramodyoga Samsthe and convention of members of self-help groups, micro and small entrepreneurs at Dharmasthala in Belthangady taluk.
He said impetus has to be given to the Khadi village industries while micro enterprises should be established with the help of raw material available in rural areas. The government would offer necessary training.
The younger generation, instead of hunting for jobs, should become entrepreneurs through this method, the Minister said. (KNN Bureau)
