Gujarat MSMEs happy with the state budget

Vadodara, Feb 24 (KNN) Gujarat Government has announced Rs 596 crore allocation for the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises for the year 2016-17. The industry is happy with the budget and said more investments would surely come to the state.

Talking to KNN, Senior Vice President of Federation of Gujarat Industries (FGI) Janak Sheth said, "We can see lot of investments coming to Gujarat after the announcement."

He said that the demands of the industry  has been met in the budget.

The policies should be favourable for both-industry as well as governement.

A provision of Rs 596 crore for cash has been allocated for assistance scheme, interest subvention scheme, assistance for rent of shed and other assistance to MSME units under the Industrial Policy 2015 in the Budget 2016-17. (KNN Bureau)
