Chandigarh, Dec 19 (KNN) Haryana government will soon have a new industrial policy to enhance the growth of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the state. It will help realise their potential and keep pace with the market trends.

In a review meeting of the department Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said that the department has set its target of 4 per cent annual growth in the industrial sector.
He said that there is a need to create a mechanism for addressing credit availability issues as well as for export promotion for MSME.

The chief minister directed the officers to invite suggestions from all industrial organizations while framing a new industrial policy of the state. The draft of new industrial policy will be ready by March 2015.

Representatives of industrial associations, labour unions and other stakeholders should also be involved to get feedback that could lead to industry promotion and attract investments as per aspirations, he said.

Khattar also suggested organising national and international exhibitions for promotion besides marketing of small industries. (KNN Bureau)
