HIEMA wins Dasara horticultural award

Bengaluru, Oct 17 (KNN) Hebbal Industrial Estate Manufacturers Association (HIEMA) has won a horticultural award for its newly developed garden.
It was awarded the second prize in a contest organised by the Horticulture Department and District Horticulture Association, called Dasara Phalapushpa Pradharshana-2013 held here from October-5 to 15th, said a press release.
Designed by Past Vice President of HIEMA Rangaraj, and maintained by an employee, Manjunath, it is the only park that houses the statue of celebrated engineer and Diwan of Mysore - M Vishweshwaraya.
Dignitaries present during the prize distribution on October-15 were President, District Horticulture Association P A Gopal KGS, Vice President, District Horticulture Association D Prabhamandal, and Senior Assistant Director and Ex Officio Secretary, District Horticulture Association M S Raju.
