New Delhi, Feb 22 (KNN) Himachal Pradesh  is far behind in Udyog Adhaar Registration and it should try to increase UAM registrations, Union MSME Minister Kalraj Mishra has said.

He said that the state is at 21st position in terms to UAM filings.

"HP should try further to increase its Udyog Adhaar registration," he said.

Mishra said that the MSMEs would be extended full support by the government.

The Minister also pointed that UAM is optional for Enterprises that have filed  EM-I or EM -II or both, or Small Scale Industry Registrations, prior to the coming into force of MSMED Act 2006. (KNN Bureau)
