New Delhi, Dec 27 (KNN) The Himachal Cadre IAS of 1997 batch Rajneesh has been appointed as Additional Secretary and Development Commissioner in Ministry of MSME, Government of India.

A post graduate in Economics, he has handled diverse portfolios in the state such as Industry, Urban Affairs, Education, IT etc.

The post of DCMSME has been awaiting for a full time DC to be appointed for several months.

The office of DC MSME is the operational arm of Ministry of MSME and houses hundreds of field offices including MSMEDIs, Tool rooms, Testing centers etc.

It also maintains liaison with Central Ministries and other Central/State Government agencies/organisations financial institutions.

Several high-profile MSME development projects are being currently awaiting roll out including World Bank assisted “Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance” (RAMP) scheme is to commence FY 2022-23 planned to support various Covid Resilience and Recovery Interventions of the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MoMSME).  (KNN Bureau)
