Indore, Mar 5 (KNN) In order to promote the Start-Ups in the country and problems faced by the industry, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore has set up an Industry Interface Cell (IIC) to enhance industry academia partnership and solve general and complex problems faced by them.

Talking to KNN, Professor N M K Bhatta, Chairman, Industry Interface Committee (IIC) said that we have created a platform to interact with the industry to fill up the knowledge gaps.

"We are going to tell them about finance handling, regulations, manufacturing, productions and many more things which they are not able to utilise properly," he added.

He said that every month they invite them  to learn the business related things.

"Whenever they come to us, the experts from across the country over the age of 60 plus who have taken the retirement share their experiences and knowledge," he informed.

This is a free and affordable consultation, the Chairman said.

He also said that IIC has created a knowledge directory where there is access to the world data base which the industry can use.

"We conduct industry meet every year to make the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) understand economic analysis of the country," he said adding that IIC also sends the students to the industry to take up the issues faced by them. (KNN Bureau)
