India To Develop 100 Industrial Parks With Complete Infrastructure

New Delhi, Jul 23 (KNN) Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman unveiled a significant industrial development plan as part of the new budget proposal. The initiative aims to boost economic growth and attract investment across India.

The government plans to facilitate the development of ‘plug and play’ industrial parks in or near 100 cities nationwide. These parks will feature complete infrastructure to make them investment-ready.

The project will be implemented through partnerships between the central government, state authorities, and the private sector. Improved utilisation of town planning schemes will be a focus in developing these industrial parks.

Additionally, twelve industrial parks under the National Industrial Corridor Development Programme are slated for sanction. This ambitious plan is expected to streamline industrial development and potentially accelerate economic growth in various regions across the country.
