Indian Consulate In New York To Host Webinar For Exporters, MSMEs On Entering US Market

New Delhi, May 27 (KNN) The Consulate General of India in New York, in collaboration with Walmart, is hosting a webinar to help Indian exporters and small businesses navigate the pathway to the US market.

The webinar, titled ‘Discover Pathways for Export to USA for Indian Exporters and MSMEs’, is scheduled for Friday, May 29, 2026, from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM (IST). It is being organised through the India–USA Trade Facilitation Portal under the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).

The session will offer actionable guidance on global supply chain requirements, compliance standards, and the steps needed for Indian exporters and micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to place their products on American retail shelves — particularly those of Walmart, which operates over 10,750 stores across 19 countries and runs multiple eCommerce platforms.

The initiative follows a similar webinar held last month by the Indian Consulate in Seattle, in partnership with the New York Consulate, featuring Costco Wholesale Corporation. That session drew over 200 Indian exporters, reflecting strong interest from Indian businesses seeking to enter the US retail market.
