Industry & Engineering institutions' collaboration will help Vidarbha industrialise: Director MSME Maharashtra

Nagpur, Mar 14 (KNN) Partnership between Industry and Engineering Institutions will boost  the industrialisation process of Vidarbha region, said  P M Parlewar, Director, MSME for the state of Maharashtra. 

“Engineering institutions play a crucial role to create awareness amongst the young engineering students and for promotion of skill development,” he added. 

This was discussed at the Khasdar Audyogik Mahotsav organized by MSME-DI, Nagpur in association with various Industries Organizations of Vidarbha region.

A meeting was held which was chaired by Parlewar, and presided over by C.G.Shegaonkar, President, MIDC Industries Association, Hingna, Nagpur.

Engineering colleges were encouraged to work on innovation, incubation and design ideas.

Dr. Padole, Principal, VNIT, Nagpur, said that VNIT is connected to MSME and KVIC fromt he last 10 to 15 years and we regularly organise Skill Development Programmes 

He said that if all the NITs and IITs are involved then it will be great. 

Waghe, Principal, YCCE suggested that MSME-DI should take continuous campaigns for the students and arrange the talks of successful entrepreneurs to motivate them.

Dr. Subhash Bhamre, MP and Ex Minister of State for Defence, Dhule and Hemant Godse, MP, Nashik were also present. (KNN Bureau)
