International conference on 'Make in India' to support MSME growth, innovation

The event will be held on January 9 and 10, 2015 in the NIESBUD Noida campus, according to official data.
The main objective of the conference is to foster growth and innovation in micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), particularly related to manufacturing segment and to convert the threat of globalisation into opportunities.
The event will deliberate on themes such as emerging opportunities and challenges in MSMEs, ITEC’s role in encouraging and boosting the ‘Make in India’ initiative, MSME- global status, issue and problems, entrepreneur slant for developing MSME with social media use and facilitating and capacity building for MSME stakeholders.
The international conference will bring together academicians, researchers, NIESBUD trained ITEC participants and experts from all over the world who will interact and exchange views and also discuss the major issues related to MSME growth and innovation.
NIESBUD has also invited papers from business leaders, professionals, academicians, researchers and students on any of the conference themes.
The two day event will include panel discussions by distinguished policy makers from the Ministry of MSME, Ministry of External Affairs, embassies, MSME entrepreneurs, stakeholders including regulatory authorities, financial institutions, corporate leaders and investors, technology providers and other experts.
They will address latest trends and insights in developing, innovating and sustaining MSME growth in manufacturing driven economy country like India. (KNN/ST)
