Jaitley to launch MSME Ministry’s Data Bank and Online Finance Facilitation web portals on Aug 11

New Delhi, Aug 9 (KNN) Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley will launch the MSME Databank Web Portal and the Online Finance Facilitation Web Portal of the MSME Ministry on August 11.

Union MSME Minister Kalraj Mishra along with the MoS Ministry of MSME Giriraj Singh and Haribhai Parthibhai Chaudhury will also be present at the launch.

The Union Ministry of MSME had launched the new initiative to capture data regarding these industries online through www.msmedatabank.in .

Further, this data will help the ministry plan the development activities and incentive programs well.

This is aimed to help saving in expenditure incurred at the time of 4th All India Census, which was in range of approximately Rs 200 crore.

Kalraj Mishra on 16 June 2014 launched Online Finance Facilitation Centre (OFFC) for MSMEs.

The centre will operate as a one-stop-shop by providing collective financing options for SMEs from various major financial institutions.

It will also facilitate the SMEs across the country with documentation and preparation of bankable project proposals. (KNN Bureau)
