Jammu entrepreneurs flay govt for non-clearance of incentives of industrial units

Jammu, Aug 25 (KNN) The Federation of Industries Jammu (FOIJ) has raised serious concerns over the "non-serious" attitude of Industries Department towards holding regular meetings of the State Level Committee leading to piling up of pending cases of clearance of Central/State incentives of the Industrial Units.
 
“An urgent meeting of FOIJ was held today under the Chairmanship of Rajesh Jain Chairman, FOIJ to discuss the issue regarding non serious attitude of Industries Department in respect of holding of regular meetings of the State Level Committee since February 2015 resulting huge cases of Central/State Incentives of Industrial Units are lying pending with Director of Industries Jammu/Kashmir resulting into the blockage of huge amount of the Unit Holders,” according to a press release.
 
Members present in the meeting raised serious concern about the deferment of State Level Meetings of the Industries Department from last six months for the reasons best known to the concerned officials in spite of the facts that the requisite funds available with the DIPP Govt. of India for the release of Incentives and we fear that the funds may be lapse in the near future, Jain said in a statement.
 
The industry body has sought Industries and Commerce Minister Chander Parkash’s intervention in to the matter and has urged the Minister to issue immediate order in this regard.
 
The meeting was attended by members and office bearers of the all industrial associations in Jammu. (KNN Bureau)
