Jammu Kashmir govt meets MSME Minister, requests funds for beekeeping
New Delhi, Dec 2 (KNN) In an attempt to facilitate the beekeeping in the state, the Jammu Kashmir government recently held a meeting with MSME Minister Giriraj Singh, requesting funds of 125 crores for bee keeping project.
The state government has also asked for Rs 11.39 crore under the Scheme of Fund for Regeneration of Traditional Industries (SFURTI) from the Centre.
The deliberations came up during the meeting between Jammu Kashmir Minister for Industry and Commerce Chander Prakash Ganga and MSME Minister Giriraj Singh.
During the meeting, Ganga briefed the Union Minister of the different development programmes and initiatives being taken up by the state government at present. (KNN/DA)
