J&K industries commissioner assures industry of resolving issues

Srinagar, Sept 3 (KNN) Industries and Commerce Financial Commissioner of Jammu and Kashmir, Khurshid Ahmad Ganai has assured representatives of industry associations that the government will take every effort to mitigate the problems of industry, said a media report.

Gaini accompanied by the Director Industries and Commerce,  MD, SIDCO, Joint Director, I&C, GM, DIC and other officers of the SIDCO/SICOP and I&C department had visited the SIDCO Industrial Complex at Bari Brahmna in Jammu recently.

The MD briefed the financial commissioner about ongoing developmental works being undertaken under the up-gradation government scheme of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME).

Gaini interacted with the office bearers of industries association led by its President, Annil Suri. The association briefed him about various difficulties being faced by the industrialists.

He issued on spot directions to immediately take necessary steps in consultation with the members to improve the infrastructure especially the cleanliness of the estate and the problem of water logging.

He also visited industrial units of Shalimar Carpets, Saraswati Plasto Tech and Uflex and appreciated the products being manufactured in Jammu. (KNN Bureau)
