Chandigarh, Feb 20 (KNN) Union Minister for  Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (Kalraj Mishra) on Friday reiterated that with effect from 1st April 2015, it is manadatory for the PSUs to procure minimum of 20 per cent from the MSEs.

The Minister recently reviewed procurement policy for the MSMEs and slammed the PSUs for  not strictly abiding by the policy.

He however said that procurement is increasing now.

While addressing the Regional Conclave of Northern Region in Chandigarh, MSME Minister also said that framework has been designed for the revival and rehabilitation of sick MSME units to save them from turning into  NPAs.
