Kalraj Mishra reviews financial support to MSMEs under ZED Certification Scheme

New Delhi, June 7 (KNN) Union Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Kalraj Mishra reviewed the financial support being extended to the MSMEs in ZED Certification Scheme.

Mishra chaired a meeting here today with the officials of MSME Ministry.

In a Facebook post, the Ministry said, “Kalraj Mishra Hon'ble Minister MSME chaired a meeting on ‪#‎ZeroDefectZeroEffect with @minmsme official.”

The meeting was held with officials of MSME Ministry and Quality Council of India (QCI) to review the financial support to MSMEs in ZED Certification Scheme.

The Ministry of MSME is implementing a number of Schemes and Programmes for the benefit of local manufacturing in the MSME sector across the country. 

To achieve the targets of the recent "Zero Effect, Zero Defect Models", the Ministry along with the Quality Council of India (QCI) has worked out a 'ZED Certification' model encompassing an array of quality parameters in manufacturing. (KNN Bureau)
