Kalraj Mishra to inaugurate National MSME Southern Summit in B’lore on Jan 6

Bengaluru, Dec 28 (KNN) Karnataka Small Scale Industries Association (KASSIA)  is organizing  a one day  “National MSME Southern Summit” on January 6, 2017 in the city which will be inaugurated by Union MSME Minister Kalraj Mishra.

 

The premier MSME Industry Associations from Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala, Pondicherry and Goa will take part in the day long Summit.

 

Discussions over wide array of subjects which are impacting the development of MSMEs in southern region will take place.

 

 Recommendations would be made to the Government to revisit on the industrial policy and other related measures that needs to be taken for the healthy growth of this segment.

 

The Summit will submit a common “Joint Memorandum” to the Government of India after the daylong deliberations with all the Southern Associations and making recommendations to the Government to address the critical problems facing the MSME sector in the country, particularly the Southern States.

 

Along with the Union MSME Minister, MoS MSME Giriraj Singh; K.K.Jalan, Secretary, Ministry of MSME; Anil Kumar, Joint Secretary, Ministry of MSME; Ravindra Nath, CMD, NSIC, New Delhi and State SSI Minister and other Senior Officers  from the department of Industry, Government of Karnataka will participate in this Summit.

 

Kalraj Mishra will inaugurate the National MSME and will also launch the Pradhana Mantri MSME Handbook in regional language-Kannada, first of its kind initiative in the country at KASSIA. (KNN Bureau)
