New Delhi, July 4 (KNN) In a recently held elections for the new council of management of Karnataka Small Scale Industries Association (KASSIA) for the year 2018-19, Basavaraj S. Javali has been elected as President of KASSIA.

Elections to the new Council of Management and General Body of the KASSIA were held on June 30 and July 1, 2018.

In the new team of office bearers R. Raju has been elected as KASSIA Vice President while Suresh N. Sagar has been given the responsibility of Joint Secretary-Urban.

The other office bearer for the year 2018-19 includes Kulkarni Ravikiran as General Secretary, Vishweswaraiah.S as Joint Secretary-Rural and Shrinath Bhandary Udywar as Treasurer.

Started career as entrepreneur, Basavaraj S. Javali has a thorough understanding of industry and trade. He served earlier as President of Belgaum Chamber of Commerce and Industry, President of Small Scale Industries Association, Belgaum, Ex Secretary and president of Rotary Club of Belgaum and was a Vice-President of KASSIA Bangalore for the year 2017-18.
