Kerala SIDCO to distribute soap, detergents and LED lights across country

Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 2 (KNN) Kerala Small Industries Development Corporation is keen to distribute its products such as soap, detergents and LED lights across the country.
Other products which are successfully traded by the industry body currently are SIDCO Sabarmathi Food Products, SIDCO Drinking Water, SIDCO Washing Soap, SIDCO Shanthi Cattle Feeds, KUBS Safe and Locks and Kripa Bone Bio Fertilizers.
Other upcoming products of the Rs 250 crore corporation are sand, note books, ready mix mortar and agro organic inputs.
The trading division of Kerala SIDCO is very active. It deals with promoting manufactures by helping them in marketing their products. On its part, SIDCO offers its valuable brand name to quality products produced by good manufacturers throughout the country and helps them to enter into the markets of Kerala.
Significantly, the objective of the trading division is to promote small scale industry (SSI) units and other entrepreneurs. It also creates job opportunities and makes available quality products to the customers at reasonable rates.

Ever since its establishment in 1975 by amalgamating erstwhile Kerala Small Industries Corporation and Kerala Employment Promotion Corporation, Kerala SIDCO caters to the needs of Small Scale Industries in the State, offering provision for land and building, supply of scarce raw materials at low cost, marketing of MSME Products etc to name a few.
SIDCO is a fully owned Government Corporation with its registered office at Trivandrum. It owns and operates production units, raw materials depots, Industrial Estates/ Mini Industrial Estates, marketing cell/emporia/centres, Civil Construction Division, IT&TC Division, Export & Import/ Project Division and Industrial Parks.
