New Delhi, May 9 (KNN) Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has shifted to an online system for its Product Certification Scheme for manufacturers of products under which all licensees are required to make one-time registration on the BIS portal.

The one-time registration has to be made on the BIS portal (www.manakonline.in), for all its existing licenses and applications.

In this context, system generated advice containing the User ID and password has already been sent by BIS to all licensees, with a request to register on the portal.

As many licensees have not yet registered on the BIS portal, the window has been left open till May 10, 2017.

BIS said the whole process from receipt of application to grant of licence till renewal of licenses, is being made online through web-portal www.manakonline.com with effect from May 15, 2017.

BIS has clarified that online applications of applicants/ licensees will not be entertained after May 10, 2017. (KNN Bureau)
