Microsoft partners with Cloud Solution Providers for SMEs

New Delhi, Mar 11 (KNN) Microsoft has come up with a specific solution for the SMEs that allows them to adopt to value-added solutions and offerings supporting their specific requirements on the cloud.
 
The program was launched by Microsoft on Tuesday and will be available to the SMEs through Microsoft's seven Cloud Solution Providers or CSPs. These CSPs will help the SMEs from across the country in building customized solutions for themselves leveraging Microsoft cloud on a pay-as-you-go model.
 
The SMEs can work with a CSP of their choice for various IT requirements. The CSP will own the complete customer life cycle, provide direct billing, offer combined and customized solutions, directly provision, as well as manage and support Microsoft cloud offerings for their customers.
 
Microsoft says the public cloud services has seen 3X grow over the years and its Azure platform is growing at about 150% and the new model will further strengthen its business. Cloud adoption in India is growing in triple digit percentage year-on-year and is pegged at $1300 million by the end 2017.
 
Karan Bajwa, Managing Director, Microsoft India, said, "Cloud adoption in India is growing in triple digit percentage year-on-year. The new Microsoft Cloud Solution Providers will make SMBs more competitive with enterprise-grade technology and value-added services from Microsoft cloud."

The seven CSPs that Microsoft has partnered with are GlobalOutlook, ZNetLive, Trimax IT Infrastructure and Services Ltd, Sify Technologies, Emkor, Opto Telelinks Ltd and XcellHost Cloud Services. (KNN/VV)
