New Delhi, Oct 21 (KNN) The one man committee, headed by Prabhat Kumar, is working on the MSME Policy, which is set to be launched in October this year.

Talking to KNN, SN Tripathi, Additional Secretary, Ministry of MSME, said, “The committee is working on the MSME Policy. Once it submits the draft, then we will further work on launching it.”

The MSME Ministry official was hopeful that by October end the draft policy will be handed to the Ministry.

The ‘One man Committee’ headed by former Jharkhand Governor Prabhat Kumar which was formed to formulate the MSME policy is working to finalize all the recommendations by October 31, 2016.

In July, Kochi-based Institute of Small Enterprise and Development (ISED) was roped in as an institutional associate to the Prabhat Kumar Committee on MSME Policy.

ISED has been helping the committee in research and analysis to help the committee draft its final recommendations. (KNN Bureau)
