Ministry of MSME to hold international conference on Mizoram GI Products Export Promotion from 29 Jan to 5 Feb

New Delhi, Jan 22 (KNN) The National Institute for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in partnership with Palladium Consulting India Private Limited (PCIPL) is organising an International Virtual Conference on Export Promotion of GI Products, Mizoram between January 29th to February 5th, 2022.
It is sponsored by Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India
under its International Cooperation (IC) Scheme.
Mizoram's Tawlhlohpuan and Mizo Puanchei shawl or wraparound, the most exquisite and intricately designed handwoven textile, has received Geographical Indication (GI) tag under the Government of India's Department for promotion of industry and internal trade.
The International cooperation scheme is a demand driven scheme under which financial assistance is provided on reimbursement basis to the eligible State /Central Government.
It also applicable for Organisations and Registered Industry Associations, societies /trusts associated with promotion and development of MSME sector.
