MoMSME organizing NLVDP cum Expo in Jorhat, Assam

Guwahati, Feb 15 (KNN) Aiming to improve procurement from MSME units in the North-Eastern Region, Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MoMSME) is organizing a National Level Vendor Development Programme  (NLVDP) in Jorhat, Assam.

The NLVDP is being organized by MSME-Development Institute – Guwahati, in association with North Eastern Small Scale Industries Association (NESSIA) .

The Vendor Development Programme cum Expo will be held at Bistu Ram Baruah Hall Jorhat, on February 22-23, 2017.

The main objective of the NLVDP is to develop micro and small enterprises to expand market base and explore new marketing avenues in CPSUs, Government Departments and Large Scale Units.

The Expo will provide an opportunity to the MSMEs to showcase their capabilities by displaying their products.

According to the organizers, the programme will also facilitate CPSUs and other large buyers to identify suitable MSMEs for their outsourcing.

The participants will be MSMEs and prospective entrepreneurs along with buyers from Public Sector Undertaking, Government Departments and Defence Sector. (KNN Bureau)
