MoMSME wants a knowledge partner for promotion and development of MSME ecosystem

New Delhi, Nov 5 (KNN) Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) wants to rope in a knowledge partner to help it promote and develop the MSME ecosystem.

In this regard, Office of the Development Commissioner under the Ministry of MSME (DC-MSME) has invited bids from experienced individual(s) Volunteers / Non Profit Institution(s) / Pro Bono / CSR Initiatives Organisation(s) for creating a network for ecosystem support to MSME Entrepreneur(s) on Pro Bono Publico basis.

The Ministry said that the idea behind such an endeavour is to facilitate a common platform for social entrepreneurs and other stakeholders in the MSME Ecosystem to interact, get opportunity for collaborative projects and pursue other mutually beneficial interest.

The engagement would be on Pro bono publico basis throughout the period of the engagement/association, said DC MSME in a notification.

Individuals (Resource) will support entrepreneur(s), in various ways in which they have their strengths and expertise, said Ministry.

It said “The Resource shall be empanelled with the Office of Development Commissioner (MSME). The resource may thereafter content development and intend support/ assist the MSME advisory/ awareness campaigns. “

Support shall include the fields of knowledge, market access, technology, credit and any other services as may be deemed necessary for promotion and development of MSME ecosystem, it added.

The interested parties/resource must have expertise in the relevant fields/areas that includes motivation programmes for entrepreneurs, knowledge support for MSMEs, market access initiatives, financial services delivery, technology services, legal services, policy & governance, sectoral expertise , infrastructure / common services / access to resources.

    STEP IS APPRECIATED BUT IT SHOULD BE WORK FROM GRASSROOT IMPLRMRNT
