More than 22 lakh new MSMEs registered on Udyog Aadhaar Portal from March 2018 to March 2019

New Delhi, July 26 (KNN) From March 2108 to the same month of 2019, a total of 22.83 lakh Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) registered on Udyog Aadhaar Portal in the country.

The Union Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Nitin Gadkari provided the information in a written reply to the Lok Sabha today.

Through schemes like, Minister’s Employment Generation Program (PMEGP), Credit Guarantee Scheme for Micro and Small Enterprises and Credit Linked Capital Subsidy Scheme the ministry of MSME facilitates access to finance.

Through credit flow from the Scheduled Commercial Banks over the last three years are:

In 2017 it was given Rs. 1070129.48, in 2018 Rs. 1149353.83 and in 2019 Rs. 1497687.10. To make the credit collateral-free, Government of India launched The Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises (CGTMSE).

Under this scheme, during the last two years funds have been allocated are: In 2017-18 a total of 2.63 Lakh credits were approved with the allocation of Rs. 19065.91. crore. In 2018-19 a total of 4.36 Lakh credits approved with the allocation of Rs. 30168.57 crore.
