Jamshedpur, Nov 22 (KNN) Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Jharkhand has organised the second edition of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) conclave where important topics like start-up, innovation, challenges and opportunities; empowering the later through addressing their financing needs and government schemes for small sectors were covered.

It acted as a forum wherein the participants got the opportunity to interact with the Bureaucrats and industry Leaders, thought leaders to learn the best practices and were updated of the latest government plans.

''MSMEs are the backbone of the economy and the government commits all support for the growth and development of the sector,'' said P K Gupta, Director, MSME Development Institute, Ranchi while addressing the gathering on Thursday. 

On the other hand, S K Behera, past chairman, CII Jharkhand State Council & Vice Chairman, RSB Transmissions (I) Ltd highlighted the keys to success for the MSME sector.

Sanjay Sabherwal, vice chairman, CII Jharkhand State Council & Managing Director, Metaldyne Industries Ltd asserted that MSMEs in Jharkhand has all the potential to flourish provided efforts are taken by the government to proactively create and sustain an enabling environment both in terms of financial and fiscal support.

Over 100 delegates participated in this important forum.
