MSME-DI focuses on job oriented programmes for budding entrepreneurs

As export is a vital sector for MSMEs, the focus of the course will be on developing skills like export documentation, steps and procedure for exports, export finance, terms for payment, export communication.
The Export Management programme will also include lessons on pricing for exports, custom clearance, port formalities and ECGC policies.
The Marketing Management programme on the other hand, will help upcoming entrepreneurs learn about modern concepts of marketing, marketing mix, market segmentation, marketing research and marketing assistance by the government.
Further, to increase the efficiency of new comers, the Time and Stress Management programme will teach skills like self-motivation, goal setting, stress coping, time and stress management.
Like the other B-schools, the MSME-DI will impart training along with fun activities for businessmen.
The course, starting November-18 will be organized here at the MSME-DI campus.
MSMEs contribute to almost 40 per cent of the country’s exports. The sector has around 3.6 crore enterprises employing over 8 crore persons. (KNN/SD)
