MSME-DI Kolkata organizing National Level Vendor Development Programme cum Exhibition at IITF

Kolkata, Dec 12 (KNN) The Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises – Development Institute (MSME-DI), Kolkata, is organizing a National Level Vendor Development Programme (NLVDP) cum Exhibition at the end of this month.

The programme will be held from December 29-31, 2016, at the MSME Pavilion at 29th IITF, Milan Kela, Kolkata.

MSME-DI is constructing a MSME Pavilion within the 29thIndustrial India Trade Fair (IITF) being organized by BNCC&I, Kolkata.

The MSME-DI has also sought for micro, small and medium enterprises to put up stalls at the event which is being allotted at the rate of Rs. 450/- per sq.ft..

MSME-DI said this would enable MSME exhibitors to participate and exhibit their products/services from December 23, 2016 to January 1, 2017 at the 29th IITF.

The National Level Vendor Development Programme (NLVDP) - cum –Exhibition will be held in coordination with various PSUs and Government Organisations. 

During the programme, the PSUs will describe the Vendor registration procedure, the business scope/opportunities for MSEs for enlisting new Vendor registration.

The authority of PSUs will also visit the products/items displayed and will interact with the SMEs. The scope of development of import substitute products will also be highlighted.

In addition, the Public Procurement Policy (PPP) – 2012, Financial Support to MSMEs in Zero Defect Zero Effect (ZED) Certification Scheme, Udyog Aadhar Memorandum, MSME Data Bank etc. will also be discussed to bring awareness among the MSEs. (KNN Bureau)
