Kolkata, Sep 24 (KNN) An interactive session is being held for the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the state on October 4 to create awareness about MSME Data Bank.

MSME-Development Institute, Kolkata, along with industry body FOSMI is holding the meet in the city.

The programme is being held keeping in view that furnishing details for inclusion in the Data Bank has now become mandatory.

Uploading of information as stipulated in Implementation of MSMED (Furnishing of Information) Rule 2016 is necessary on the part of MSMEs, Office of Development Commissioner, MSME, said in a recent notification.

The information required could be furnished online at www.msmedatabank.in.

The services offered at the MSME data bank website are free of cost.

Under the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development (Furnishing of Information) Rules, 2016, all micro, small and medium enterprises shall furnish the information relating to their enterprise to the Government in the prescribed Form.

The detailed that need to be furnished include - Aadhaar Number; UdyogAadhaar Number; PAN Number; Enterprise Name; Category Unit Size; Organization Type; Major Activity; State etc. (KNN Bureau)
