MSME-DI to organize expo to help small enterprises link up with PSUs

Hyderabad, Sept 21 (KNN)  Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) particularly in the engineering sector will get an opportunity to link up with several top public sector companies including BHEL, NMDC and ONGC in their vendor development programme.

Other leading Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) and Banks which will also interact with MSMEs during the event are South Central Railways, VSP, BDL, BEL, APSRTC, State Bank of India (SBI), SBH, Andhra Bank, Canara Bank, Corporation Bank etc.

Organized by the MSME-Development Institute, the MSME Expo will be held here on November-8 and 9.

The objective of the Expo is to provide an opportunity to MSMEs to showcase their capability to PSUs/Government organisations and large scale enterprises to lead to their development.

According to the government procurement policy, the PSUs are required to procure a minimum of 20 per cent of their annual value of goods or services from MSMEs. (KNN/PC/SD)
