MSME-DI to organize national vendor development programme in Dec

New Delhi, Nov 20 (KNN) In order to provide opportunities to MSEs to explore new market avenues in large scale units, the MSME Development Institute is organizing a national level vendor development programme cum exhibition here.
MSME Expo 2013, to be held on December 12-13, will help the MSEs to explore new marketing avenues in CPSU, Government departments and large scale units, MSME-DI said in a notification.
The national vendor development programme will also provide opportunity to the MSEs in the various technical fields to expand market base, the notification added.
In this context, MSME-DI has sought entrepreneurs for booking their stalls and participating in the MSME-Expo 2013.
According to the public procurement policy for MSME, public sector units have to do 20 per cent of their sourcing from the MSMEs. (KNN/SD)
