MSME-DI to provide gold appraiser training programme

New Delhi, Dec 26 (KNN) Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) – Technology Development Institute will organise a two-week long skill development gold appraiser training programme for unemployed youth in the national capital region of Noida from  December 28.
 
Certificates from the Union Ministry will be given to candidates who successfully complete the five day training.
 
The objective of the training programme is to train educated unemployed youth and to create job opportunities in nationalised banks and co-operative banks and help them to start their own pawnbroker shop and jewellery shop.
 
The MSME Ministry also extends assistance to trainees in getting loans from nationalised and cooperative banks for starting self-employment ventures.
 
The practical training will be conducted through modern touch and techniques.
 
The Institute has been providing need based support to  micro and  small scale entrepreneurs by providing various essential inputs like technical counselling regarding selection of product location,  raw materials, machinery, layout,  and product process, managerial consultancy, etc.
 
The Institute also helps Micro & Small scale Enterprises (MSEs) by imparting knowledge on new practices like modernization, technology up gradation, acquiring international quality systems, energy conservation, pollution control etc. (KNN Bureau)
