MSME Expo 2014 coming soon

Organised by the MSME-Development Institute here, in association with Ordinance Factory in Ghaziabad and BEL and CEL in Sahibabad, the event will be held on the premises of Raj Kumar Goyal Institute of Technology in Ghaziabad on October-10 and 11, according to a press notification.
“The exhibition (NVDP) will provide marketing opportunity to MSEs engaged in manufacturing/rendering services components of aerial bombs, ammunition hardware (steel/grey iron), forging products armoured/non-armoured steel, radar system, sonar system, fire control items, tank and armoured fighting vehicle electronic systems, laser range finder and other allied items procured by Ordinance Factory, Bharat Electronics Limited and Central Electronics Limited to expand market base and explore new marketing avenues,” it said.
The notification has also indicated tariff charges for stalls. There would be 100 stalls measuring 3X3 metres each and the rate for micro and small enterprises for each stall is Rs 8,000 while the same for others is Rs 15,000. Further there is a 50 per cent concession to enterprises owned by SC/ST/women/physically handicapped entrepreneurs.
Each of the stalls would have one table, two chairs with facia, floor matting, sufficient light, power point for laptop/display devices, etc.
Entrepreneurs who wish to become vendors of Ordinance Factory, BEL, CEL and other CPSUs have to apply to MSME-DI in Okhla before October-5.
During the event, there will be an interaction meet of MSEs with CPSUs/Government Departments where in public procurement policy, vendor registration and other requirements of CPSUs will be discussed. (KNN/ES)
