New Delhi, Jul 18 (KNN)  The National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development (NIESBUD), is organising a training programme for women entrepreneurs to enable them to start, compete and run a business profitably.

The Management Development Program for “Woman of Substance” will be held from July-30 to 31 at the NIESBUD premises in Noida.  The course fee is Rs 3,000.

The programme is meant for women who may have a brilliant business idea but are unsure if it would generate money; or those who have a number of ideas but are unsure which one to choose. It will also cater to those who have a passion or a hobby which they want to turn into a business but don’t know how.  Alternatively, it can help those who are tired of being employees and think they would be happier working for themselves.

Whatever the circumstances or reasons for wanting to own a business, this workshop will provide tools to being the journey to self-employment.

Specially customised for women, the two day programme developed by NIESBUD addresses the specific needs, challenges and opportunities faced by working women, entrepreneurs and professionals, a press notification said.

Further, it will focus on practical solutions to issues such as work-life balance, personal goals, opportunities available, common barriers, accessing markets, scare resources, providing all pertinent information.

Considering that everyday more and more women are embracing entrepreneurship as a viable, fulfilling career alternative to traditional forms of employment and a powerful means of building wealth, this programme will go a long way to assisting others.
