MSME lending under MP Annual Credit Plan FY22 surpasses Rs 35,009 cr target

Bhopal, May 25 (KNN) Banks in Madhya Pradesh have disbursed an amount of Rs 46,945 crore to the MSME sector as against the target of Rs 35,009 crore under the Annual Credit Plan for FY 2021-22.
It achieved 134 per cent of the target for MSMEs, which is higher than the achievement of 105 per cent during the previous financial year.
A total amount of Rs 2, 70,909 crore was disbursed at the end of March 31, 2022 against the target of Rs 2, 12,821 crore (priority & non-priority) under the same plan.
This achievement is recorded at 127 per cent which is higher than the achievement of previous financial year that was at 72 per cent.
For the agriculture sector, the target was set at Rs 1, 52,057 crore, however it could only achieve 69 per cent of it at Rs 1, 05,256 crore.
Credit offtake under education loans, housing sector was Rs 508 crore and Rs 5,772 crore and achievement index was 38 per cent and 70 per cent respectively. (KNN Bureau)
