MSME Min initiates business accelerator & start-up programme

New Delhi, Dec 29 (KNN)  The Ministry of micro, small and medium enterprises is keen to put in place a new scheme that will nurture entrepreneurs and provide them with mentoring and advisory support.

“The new scheme called ‘Business Accelerator and Start-up Programme (BASP)’ will aid and assist the developing competitive and resilient new MSEs out of potential entrepreneurs and will also nurture and upscale the existing MSEs through a range of models for mentoring and advisory support,” said a Ministry office memorandum on December-26.

As per the memorandum, the draft scheme has been designed and is available for comments, suggestions and changes.  It has also invited all stakeholders to engage in public consultation on the same.  In this regard, it has called for comments on the proposed scheme which can be sent to be Ministry by January-2.
