New Delhi, May 13 (KNN) The Ministry of MSME has sought comments on the draft micro, small and medium enterprises Development (Amendment) Bill, 2015 from the stakeholders.
 
Issues related to sickness of MSMEs, Non-Performing Assets and exit policy have been raised from time to time in different quarters. Various Committees and Expert Groups have also made suggestions in this regard. With the view to address the issues, the MSME Ministry introduced a new chapter in the MSME Development (Amendment) Bill, 2015.
 
In this regard, the ministry has earlier sought comments on a background note and a draft amendment bill from the concerned ministries and departments.
 
“Based on the comments received from various Ministries/Departments and other stakeholders, this Ministry has now prepared a draft Bill to amend the MSME Development Act, 2006 by introducing a new chapter in the same Act,” MSME Ministry said.
 
“..the comments on the draft Amendment Bill may be sent to the Ministry within 15 days,” the Ministry said on Tuesday. (KNN Bureau)
