MSME Minister announces sops for micro entrepreneurs at MSME National Awards

Ludhiana, Oct 18 (KNN) Thanking PM Modi for giving awards to the MSME entrepreneurs here today, Union MSME Minister Kalraj Mishra announced sops for the micro entrepreneurs on the occasion.

The MSME sector will surely be motivated after receiving awards from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, said Mishra thanking PM Modi for participating at the event here today.

Mishra said, “The Ministry has planned to give some incentives to the micro entrepreneurs on the occasion when PM Modi is giving awards to the MSME entrepreneurs.”

He said, “The fee for micro entrepreneurs under single page registration has been reduced from Rs 5000 to Rs 3000.”

He said the interest rate, which was in the range of 11.50% to 12.50% has also been reduced by 1%.

Mishra said PM Modi has launched two schemes of Rs 500 cr each – ZED and SC/ ST Hub.

He said, “Zero Effect Zero Defect was mooted by PM Modi on August 15, 2014.Then ZED QCI came out with guidelines for this.”

Mishra also spoke about the initiatives being taken by the government to promote entrepreneurship amongst SC/ ST entrepreneurs.

“To help the SC/ST entrepreneurs, the government is taking a lot of initiatives,” he said.

MSME Minister said, “MSME entrepreneurs will be morally boosted after receiving awards from PM Modi.”

Mishra also emphasized that “Khadi ek vastra nahi vichar hai” was also pitched by PM Modi and his calls for buying Khadi has boosted the sale tremendously.

“The artisans working in villages have been benefitted by this,” he said. (KNN Bureau)
