MSME Minister Narayan Rane invites UAE to jointly create system to help MSMEs

New Delhi, May 13 (KNN) Union Minister for MSME Narayan Rane has invited the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to collaborate and create a system that will enable the MSMEs.
During a meeting with Government of UAE delegation on Thursday, the Union Minister emphasised on lucrative investment opportunities for UAE in India’s infrastructure, food processing and energy sector.
“We wish to explore new opportunities and also scale the already existing businesses,” he added highlighting UAE’s position as India's third largest trading partner.
The UAE delegation was led by MoS for Entrepreneurship and SMEs Dr. Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi.
MoS, Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma and senior Officers of the Ministry were also in attendance.
AS&DC, MSME Shailesh Kumar Singh reiterated that the SMEs of both countries have immense potential to scale up bilateral trade by sharing best practices, knowledge, skilling, transfer of technology.
Focusing on the bilateral relations JS, MSME Mercy Epao said our ties are deeply rooted historically and culturally and we look forward to future endeavors.
She highlighted that CEPA has opened new opportunities for trade and investments between the two countries which will benefit SMEs and startups. (KNN Bureau)
