MSME Ministry approves over 15 cluster proposals of Coir Board, KVIC

New Delhi, Dec 1 (KNN) MSME Ministry gave approvals to over 15 cluster proposals of Coir Board and KVIC.

The MSME Ministry held consultations with Screening Committee of SFURTI schemes and with the bankers to discuss the progress.

Secretary, Ministry of MSME, Anup K Pujari Secretary chaired the meeting of Screening Committee of SFURTI schemes on Monday.

“Over 15 Cluster proposals of Coir Board and KVIC were discussed and approved,” MSME Ministry wrote on its Facebook page.

In a separate meeting, Joint Secretary, SME, SN Tripathi met the bankers to discuss credit rating of micro and small enterprises done under PCR Scheme.

Performance & Credit Rating (PCR) Scheme was formulated in consultation with Industry Associations, Indian Banks’ Association (IBA) and Rating Agencies, with the objective of creating awareness amongst Small Scale Units (now known as micro & small enterprises) about the strengths and weaknesses of their existing operations and to provide them an opportunity to enhance their organizational strengths.

Rating under the scheme is being carried out through empanelled rating agencies i.e. CRISIL, ONICRA, ICRA, SMERA, Brickwork, India Ratings (earlier known as FITCH) and CARE. (KNN Bureau)
