MSME Ministry extends Udyog Aadhaar Memorandum validity upto March 31, 2022

New Delhi, Jan 28 (KNN) The Ministry of MSME has announced the extension of Udyog Aadhaar Memorandum (UAM) validity upto 31st March, 2022.

This decision is made to help UAM holders to avail benefits of the provisions under various existing schemes and incentives including Priority Sector Lending benefits of MSME.

Previously the last day of validity was extended from 31st of March, 2021 to  December 31, 2021.

Udyog Aadhaar Memorandum (UAM) is a single-page registration that is equivalent to the previous 11 forms protocol for self-certification of the MSMEs.

It is similar to the unique Aadhaar details and bank account info, or any other basic information to represent as an identity of the MSME.

Moreover, the registration process is completely paperless (online). Following the completion, the applicant will receive a unique Udyog Aadhaar Number (UAN). This UAN is an identifier that can be used in applications of all MSME schemes.
