MSME Ministry for simplifying PMEGP

New Delhi, Jan 21 (KNN) MSME Ministry is planning to simplify the Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) to enhance the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and increase job creation.
 
Union MSME Minister, on Wednesday, reviewed the PMEGP and discussed with the Ministry officials on ways to simplify the scheme.
 
In another development, Anup K Pujari, Secretary, Ministry of MSME held discussions with RBI officials on credit flow to the MSME sector.
 
Pujari held discussion with D Mohanty, Executive Director, RBI and other senior officers.
 
“Report of the Committee on Medium-term Path on Financial Inclusion- has some recommendations about Credit flow to MSME sector,” the Ministry wrote on its twitter page.
 
Further, a delegation from Maritius met Kalraj Mishra on Wednesday. It was the first JCM between India and Mauritius. Also present in the meeting were Minister of State for MSME Giriraj Singh, Pujari and DC MSME along with other officials from the Ministry. (KNN Bureau)
