New Delhi, Sept 20 (KNN) About 18 lakh new entrepreneurs were created through various initiatives taken by the MSME Ministry in the last four years, said Giriraj Singh, Union Minster of State for MSMEs while interacting with media during the launch of MSME Insider,  a monthly e-newsletter.

He said “We have been working towards employment generation and with this newsletter MSME centric readers can keep a check on Ministry activities.”

Because of lack of information, some segment of people remain unaware about the Ministry activities and thus to bridge that gap, this e-newsletter portal has been launched, he added.

With the medium of this portal, Singh said “We keep you updated about the monthly activities of the Ministry.”

Singh said, “We have been taking initiatives to keep the MSME Ministry more transparent and this is one of them.”

The e-newsletter is available on the website of the Ministry www.msme.gov.in as well as on the websites of its attached organizations.

It will be made available in both the languages Hindi and English and will also be distributed to about 50 lakh MSMEs registered on the Udyog Aadhaar Memorandum Portal.
